Snakewood takes its name from its grain which resembles the skin of a snake. It's dark brown spots sit well within the reddish brown grain. It is a very expensive wood and as such, highly sought after. Given the random nature of the spots, each pen really is unique in nature as you have come to expect from a pen from Wig & Pens.
It produces a pen that sits very well balanced in the hand and given the hard density of its structure will last for many years to come.
It is, without question, a pen that will produce a great talking point whenever it is used. It is available as a beautiful Fountain pen or a Rollerball version. Both utilising our trademark top of the range furniture.
Every pen is handcrafted to order and takes a minimum of 10 working days to construct, from the date that the order is placed.
Once your handcrafted pen is complete, I will send an email with an expected delivery date included.
Every pen arrives in a velvet box that is enclosed in our signature custom packaging.
